Conceptual analysis paper

Homosexuality shall be defined by the act it self, i.e. the sexual intimacies occurring between people of the same sex, rather than the “queer” culture conceptualizations. It is arguable that homosexuals that claim themselves to be gay based upon “queer” culture concepts may be heterosexuals. I will argue that men who claim to be “gay” based upon “queer” culture concepts are actually heterosexuals and that heterosexual men who claim to be straight and are engaging in sexual acts with men are homosexuals based on the definition of a homosexual.
“Queer” culture is a phenomenon where gay men define and construct their identities on what society says is right for gay men to live by. Within this social structure there are roles that are then assigned. Men who claim to live this lifestyle tend to also have rigorous gender roles that often reflect effeminate tendencies. This results in falsified tendencies where it is assumed that gay men could have knowledge of the fashion industry, taking the effeminate roles or the desire to be women. As well as gay men are promiscuous whores who do not have the ability to have monogamous relationships. All of these concepts are associated with men who do not necessarily enjoy the idea of being sexual with the same sex, however because they do act “differently” within the heterosexual gender roles, are then considered to be gay.
The idea that gay men must adhere to such choices, as a homosexual, or refers to their “social” identities not the sexual act itself. If homosexuality is a socially constructed form of behavior and not necessarily having to do with the act itself then perhaps there is not a clear definition of what homosexuality is. Homosexual men that follow such concepts are characters rather than a human being with feelings. Gay men who closely follow roles of the “queer” culture are puppets of falsely social constructed behaviors that often emulate effeminate qualities.
Once, gay or straight men become, part of this “queer” culture, It is nearly impossible to separate yourself from the stereotypes that come along with concept of being a homosexual: sadly, whether you are gay or not. The character (i.e. the gay man based upon “queer” culture) takes over the ability to differentiate you as an individual human being. It is as if you stripped yourself of personality. A homosexual should not follow the socially constructed ideals having to take on a character based upon societal standards of what homosexuality is, the idea of intimacy between two people of the same sex. Rather the homosexual should be an individual whom enjoys sexual intimacies with the same sex, one that does not follow rigorous lifestyle changes. For that is homosexuality in its purest form without the idea that there are socially constructed behaviors that must associate themselves with homosexuality.
A very common miss perception within the “queer” culture concept is that men who dress well are homosexual. Therefore men who may not enjoy sexual relations with men, yet dress fashionably are considered homosexual. Due to the amount of pressure that may be placed on the individual it may cause them to come out of the closet when in fact they are heterosexual.
When men follow these “queer” culture traits it then becomes impossible to break yourself from the cultural ties; it is if homosexuality and “queer” culture is a cult. There are standards a homosexual must follow, knowledge of which all homosexual males adhere to. Therefore homosexuality may lose the idea of sex and becomes more about social interactions. To continue to feel safe withinin society homosexuals may stay with indentifying themselves within the gay community, which begs the questions why is it necessary to even segregate homosexuals from other communities?
There are men who, under social pressure, claim to be homosexual because they follow the “queer” culture concepts. The men that are under social scrutiny to claim them to be gay are most likely heterosexuals. Among these men the ones that do not par take amongst the queer culture are seen as bi-sexual and not homosexual.
Men that mess around with men and claim they want “straight” acting men are men that may actually be true homosexuals. This concept approaches the idea that men will combat against social standards ones that are applied to homosexuals. When men desire relations with men that are “straight” acting it is applying homosexuality to its purest form, the idea that men have sexual relations with men without the social standards on behavior.
In conclusion, men that tend not to follow societal standards of the “queer” culture may be the homosexuals. Whereas a vast majority of the men who claim to be homosexual may have fooled themselves into adapting a lifestyle that do not enjoy and feel as if they are in a play as a character. It is crucial to look at homosexuality for the act i.e. the intimate relations between people of the same sex rather than the socially constructed signals we send.

Shape photo

Directions

The object of these directions is to allow you to make the shape desired:
1. Take the two large triangles placing the one triangle to the left (with the point facing down)
2. Place the second triangle point up on the right side aligning it with the other triangle.
3. You now have a rhombus, there is another triangle in the group a small one, take the smaller triangle and place it about the left hand side triangle in the center of the left triangle on top.
4. then place the other rhombus on the end of the triangles, placing the square underneath the right hand side of the triangle shape.
5. Then place the square towards the center of the whole shape, you should than have the same shape as is on the paper.

GOOD LUCK YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET IT BUT TRY ANYWAY!

Revised chart

Summary of argument

Summary of the argument:

There is an exploration of the ethics of physicians helping with lethal injections. There are claims it is a violation of the Hippocratic oath: where is the line of degree where physicians help lies? There are two extremes one, that the code is irrelevant two; the code defines the duties of the physicians. If it is wrong for physicians to participate in torture then it is wrong for them to participate in torturous acts? The argument denies the legitimacy of medical skills when they run counter to the health interests of the persons to whom there applied; as well as counter to the wishes of that person.

Revised argument

A hot commodity is Joe a slave, personal assistant, one that desires the ability to sell their work as an investment for the future. As of now the law states that selling yourself, as a slave, personal assistant, is illegal. The idea of Joe selling himself, his flesh, for money may be seen as being un-ethical or unjust.
According to Kant’s perspective on consequentialism there are both positive and negative actions; Joe selling himself as a slave to better the lives of others is more so a hero, a positive consequence, than a slave. The slave Joe is worth more than just flesh rather, monetary value. There are other positive consequences as the slaves, personal assistants, create exchanges of money. The money made from Joe and the other slaves will enhance the economy thus creating more jobs. In return for the money Joe will be an assistant, slave, to the people who have purchased Joe and or other slaves, in exchange for their loyalty and work.
The idea the slavery is unethical is not permissible in this instance according to Kant’s consequentialism perspective. There are both good and bad consequences of being a slave. Joe does have to give up most of his rights, however, it is for money and there are laws in such contracts stating the problems he may face. Negatively speaking there is the chance for negative consequences. Joe may be abused and or taken advantage of with him being a slave. However, as mentioned earlier there are both good and bad consequences in every action we do.
Slaves like Joe are willing to risk their lives and freedom understanding the possibility of negative consequences for the direct assistance for others needs. In conclusion there are multiple discrepancies within the idea of what is moral and what is not. Consequentially, there are many positive attributes that out weight the negative perception on slavery. Slavery will create more jobs while assisting the needs of others. A large influx of money will be put back into the economy from Joe being a slave: therefore, based upon Kant’s logic, money, and the ability for slaves to help others, it is arguably safe to say that any argument made against slavery can be disregarded as there are more positive consequences than negative.

Exercise 4

In Crito (dialogues) written by Plato, Socrates argued that citizens have the duty to obey state; the state then sentenced Socrates to death, Socrates then went willingly as he believed it was his duty.

Argument

A hot commodity is a slave, one that desires the ability to sell themselves as an investment for the future. As of now the law states that selling your self is illegal. The idea of selling flesh for the work of others may seem as being un-ethical. However, a person selling themselves to better the life of someone else is more so a hero than a slave. The slave is more than just flesh, rather monetary value. The idea that the slave is being sold creates an exchange of money. The money made from the salves will enhance the economy thus creating more jobs. In return for the money the peoples that have sold themselves will be in assistance to people who have purchased them.
The idea that the selling of flesh seems un-ethical is not a mere possibility in this instance. Slaves are ones that are willing to risk their lives by assisting others immediate needs. In conclusion there are multiple layers to the positive attributes of slavery. It will create jobs, while assisting many people. There will be a large flow of money of which will be put back into the economy. Lastly, people who are willing themselves are steeping up and assisting those in need based upon a contract. Therefore based upon such principals of ethics, money and assistance it is seen to be fit and ethical to sell yourself as a slave.

Exercise 3

Socrates an ancient philosopher was executed in 403 B.C. for corrupting the youth according to 500 Athens jurors, he could have escaped although he did not.

Exercise 2

J.S Mill states that "Utilitarianism is a theory," concerning ethics as a core principle. In essence one should act upon these principles to create the greater good for all people.

Promise

If you make a commitment, a promise, the act must be completed as it is an obligation, a duty that must be done.

Paradox

You cannot make conclusions on facts (interactions with people) that have not been completed.
