Dilemma with counter example and concept paper

Dilemma:

There comes a problem that is evident in the thesis “living in a queer culture does not make one gay or commit homosexual acts, but rather a conformist to an illegitimate, created, society.” There is clearly an issue where there are different definitions to the words gay and homosexual. However, whether there are different definitions or not it does not answer the cause of homosexuality. Therefore as it stands I will argue that queer culture is an excuse for homosexuality to exist. Whether you take on a label or not you are still identifying to certain ideals. Such ideals can shape the way people behave within society.
The terms and definitions of what Gay and Homosexual are need to be clarified to further express the concept that queer culture was in fact created, not making one commit homosexual sex acts rather conforming to social cues that are associated with people who claim to be gay not homosexual.
