This book is perhaps one of the most disgusting stereotyped pieces of "queer" literature to hit the shelves. This book is targeted towards the young active gay male; the idea that one needs a manual to survive his type. What is more bothersome is the fact that it states that all gay men are predisposed to a drama gene? really? who should believe this blasphemous material. After more reading I discovered that the author claims that all gay men are an archetype of drama such as: gym addict, Martha Stewart, The hoe, and various other roles. It puzzles me that men will define themselves as being a "role" rather a "character" because that is what being "gay" is!!!!
NO, gay perhaps one of the most misused words. it is not made clear that homosexual means one that has sex with the same sex. This does NOT define that gay men will become the next Martha, Hoe or even a gym addict. This shitty literature further develops the idea that such a culture is created. It is not natural for men to come out fucking men who have the ability of being Martha or the next Hoe!!! will there be a time when sex is looked at for sex and there are not characteristics attributed with sex!?
